My Promises to Vasanthanagar

1) Would first and foremost bring back the Vasanthanagar Post Office to Vasanthanagar which

has recently been shifted elsewhere.

2) Would emphasize more on developmental works and ensure that the civic issues and

complaints are resolved within minimum time.

3) Setting up of a Police Station in the constituency to check crime and ensure safety of the

citizens especially women and children.

4) Development of religious and spiritual centers and ensure communal peace.

5) Ensure that there is no water clogging and sewage complaints in my constituency.

6) Ensure that issues such as street light complaints, unprotected dangerous wires and pot holes that cause hazards to the commuters are dealt immediately and make it a safe

constituency.

7) Will ensure good walking paths and make facilities like drinking water and sitting benches for walkers and senior citizens of my constituency.

8) Will provide existing parks with latest and safe play areas for the tiny tots of my constituency.

9) Will develop the BBMP School and work towards making it an example for excellent education provided by any BBMP School.

10) Will introduce Eco-friendly garbage disposal systems.

11) Bring up innovative packages for apartments and residents to maintain cleanliness and increase Pro- environmental activities.

12) Encourage and conduct vanamahotsavas periodically to grow plants and trees in my constituency.

My profile

I have already served as a corporator from the Sampangiramanagar Ward. During my tenure, I have undertaken many social and developmental works.

A few of the works are as follows:

1) The first work I did after being elected was the successful completion of the Maternity Hospital and it is serving the citizens successfully.

2) Started a tailoring center for women in my constituency.

3) Functional in opening a BESCOM bill payment center in my constituency which made it easy for the people of the constituency to pay the bills at a nearby location.

4) I was instrumental in setting up a Veterinary Medical Center in my constituency to provide medical facilities for the domestic animals.

5) Setting up a post office at the Nagara Palike building for the use of the citizens of my constituency.

6) I have been instrumental in providing my constituency with a Police Station which is set up in the Nagara Palike property.

7) Inaugurated the council hall at BBMP.

8) Provided land for Hanuman, Ganapathi and Banashankari temples in my constituency.

9) Actively participate in all spiritual and religious events in my constituency.
